Sri Lanka

Sri (Prosperity) Lanka (Island) is a most beautiful place with the most beautiful people. It has an amazing diversity of scenery from brilliant green rice fields, sun bronzed beaches, ancient ruined cities, tropical jungles and hill country tea plantations. The photo album describes the scene. We are leaving Kota Kinabalu (sadly) on the 7th of August on China Grove enroute to Australia via Indonesia. Will keep you posted.

Sri Lanka

OMG - it's been three months since the last update. So - we have ticked off a few things - antifouled at Kudat,replenished "refreshments" at Labuan,had the girls on board for 10 days (Nicole, Peattie and Mel) and climbed Mount Kinabalu (big tick).

Now cleaning (again) and stocking up for our return journey to Australia mid August. 16th of July will find us in Sri Lanka for a couple of weeks -- a holiday we booked through an agent in Melbourne to coincide with our visa renewal for Malaysia. We return to CG on the 28th of July and will have just over a week in the marina to finalise stocking, cleaning, fixing etc etc and then off for Tawau, Sabah. Plan to be in Yorkeys Knob, Queensland by 1st of December -- will keep you posted.

Back on board

We are back on board China Grove at Sutera Harbour Marina. The plan is (after fixing all problems that have come up and were not on the current list) is to take CG to Kudat, which is on the top of Borneo, and haul out for antifouling.
